The 3rd piece in a series of draft horse paintings and drawings. This pair was setting up to pull a sled of weights in a pulling contest at the Addison County Field Days in Vermont. I believe they won but don't hold me to that. They were certainly passionate about having their turn. Like all elite athletes, they couldn't wait to get started.
